parchment; humanistic script; most Petrarchan poems with two verses per line; a few with one verse per line, but written in two columns (e.g., fol. 4v); some other poems written as if the text were prose (e.g., fol. 66r-66v); one architectural frame and decorated initials.

fols. 2r-49r: RVF 1-262, followed by [Petrarch’s dispersa] ‘Donna mi uiene speso ne la mente’;

fols. 69v-75v: alphabetical index of the first lines of RVF poems (under each letter of the alphabet, poems are listed in order of appearance);

fol. 76v: anonymous poem by a different hand (one octave, <inc> Generoso figliuol del grande Alcide), followed by a word in capital letters (‘Roma’).
