Marginal annotations by at least three different hands include: addition of missing lines; variant readings; references to names of characters mentioned in the poems; reference to basic rhetorical features of the poems (e.g., ‘comparatione’ or ‘bella sententia’); additional pieces of information in Latin about the characters referred to in the poems (e.g., fol. 26r: ‘tuctia f[uit] que [sic] i[n]cesti accusata est ut, in octauo ualeri max[imi] doc[et(?)] ex capitul[o] p[rim]o’).
Decorated initials in gold for the beginning of each Triumphus and each subsequent capitolo; at fol. 1r is an architectural frame with a coat of arms at the bottom of the fol.
