Fol. 9r has an architectural frame with floral decorations; at the top of the fol. is a rectangular-box illumination showing Daphne chased by Apollo; at the bottom are two cupids holding a laurel wreath. Historiated initials in gold for RVF 1 (fol. 9r) and for Triumphus Amoris I (fol. 149r). Initials in gold with decorated border for RVF 264 (fol. 107r), Triumphus Pudicitie (fol. 160v), Mortis (fol. 164v), Fame (fol. 170v), Temporis (fol. 180v), Eternitatis (fol. 183r), and for Bruni’s life of Petrarch (fol. 186r).
