Notes

The ms. contains 411 poems by Petrarch. Numerous disperse are inserted within and after the corpus of the RVF: RVF 366 is numbered 406 (by pencil by a later hand) in the sequence of poems. In the index, the disperse are preceded by a small cross by a later hand. At the bottom of fol. 1 is the date ‘1669’.

Missing original fol. 6 has been replaced by a modern fol., where a later hand penned missing lines (93 to 169) of RVF 23; fol. 7r begins with RVF 24.11, as a result lines 24.1-10 are missing. Fol. 100 is missing.
