Notes

John Rylands Library copy does not have the quire * that appears at the beginning of the Trivulziana copy (see digital copy). The Trivulziana copy does not have the first part with Pseudo-Antonio da Tempo’s commentary.

The Cornell copy is divided in two volumes: vol. 1 corresponds to ‘Part 2’ of this entry and vol. 2 to ‘Part 1’.
In the first volume (= ‘Part 2’) of the Cornell copy, some marginal handwritten annotations by a humanistic hand are written next to RVF 1-24: they mostly provide short summaries of the poems. RVF 137 and 138 (but not 136) have been crossed out by pen, but are still legible.
