There are two series of annotations: 1) marginal annotations in red ink (mostly for Triumphus Amoris I) presumably by the same hand that transcribed the text: these list the names of the authors of the quotations provided in the commentary; 2) additional marginal annotations in black ink by another hand (still sixteenth century) with references to names and very rare additional quotations (e.g. fol. 89: on Triumphus Amoris III.25-27: ‘Seneca dice la 2a Sal[—] meretricio amore han[—]balys oppidus inclytu[—]’).
