Notes

The index of Triumphi’s capitoli is structured in three columns: in the left one is placed the ordinal number of the capitolo according to the sequence proposed by the compiler of the index (which does not correspond to the one of the ms.); in the central column is the fol. number of the first line of the capitolo; and in the right column is indicated the first line of each capitolo. The inclusion of the index was felt as a necessary addition since its compiler warned readers about the wrong order of the Triumphi in the ms.: ‘Nota che decti triunphi non sono scripti per ordine Vogliono stare chome qui disocto Vedraj’ (fol. Iv). Very occasional variant readings by another humanistic script are placed next to the lines of the main text; few maniculae.
