Notes

Occasional marginal annotations by a humanistic hand add a few missing lines; some maniculae. At fol. 35r some annotations by a later hand refer to past shelfmarks and, possibly, to some possessors of the ms. (the possession note was washed).
 
Fol. 4 is missing. Historiated initial in gold for Triumphus Mortis II showing Petrarch’s head (fol. 5r); decorated initials for all the other capitoli of the Triumphi and Zenone da Pistoia’s Pietosa fonte; at fol. 5r is an architectural frame with, at its bottom, a coat of arms.
