The two full-page illuminations have been cut out and pasted from another ms. and are of a smaller format (270x190 mm). According to Nicolini (2010, 16-18), these illuminations were made at the beginning of the sixteenth century, presumably in France. They show a marked resemblance to the illuminations of ms. fr. 22541 of the Bibliothèque Nationale de France made in 1520c. by Anne Malet. Decorated initial in gold for RVF 1 (fol. 1r); decorated initials in pen for each RVF poem.
