Notes

In the copy housed in Rome, at the Biblioteca Corsiniana (see digital copy 1), there is a decorated architectural frame around the text of the first two RVF poems (fol. 9r).

British Library copy (G11327) is in vellum and has decorated initials.

British Library copy (C4i4) is extensively annotated. Marginal annotations are provided for almost every composition in RVF, but not for the Triumphi. The first page of RVF has an architectural frame; coloured initials for each RVF poem.

In the John Rylands Library copy, a floral architectural frame (upper part of the page and upper half of the right side) has been pasted on fol. 1r.
